Vanessa – *Sitting on the couch watching Robert set up the playstation*

Hey Rob do you mind if I ask you a question?

Robert – *Smirks* I  think you just did.

Vanessa – Shut up stop being smart you know what I mean.

Robert – *Laughs* But what’s up?

Vanessa – You remember a few years ago when you told me that you were in love with me?

Robert – *Looking confused* ummm yeah I do, and I remember you telling me, without actually telling me, that you didn’t feel the same way. Why are you asking about it now?

Vanessa – Well I wanted to know do you still feel the same way?

Robert – Well to be honest yeah. My feelings for you never changed after all these years. What sprung this up all of sudden?

Vanessa – *Looking worried* well Tonya told me she noticed you were not looking too happy when I was hugged up with Westley the other night. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s because of the way you feel.

Robert – *Looking a bit annoyed* Oh yeah, I was trying my best not to show it. I thought y’all two weren’t talking anymore?

Vanessa – *Looking annoyed* I mean we not, but that’s none of your business. Also you don’t have the right to get upset.

Robert – *looking appalled* hold up before you get all hype I got upset because I’m in love with you and I know you don’t feel the same way. Seeing you with someone else is a tad bit hard to deal with at times. Now I try my best to keep it together the best I can for the sake of our friendship, because I put that before anything.

Vanessa – Look I’m sorry I didn’t know you were dealing with all that. I just don’t understand though why?

Robert – why what?

Vanessa – Why do you love me?

Robert – *Goes and sits on couch next to Vanessa*

Well it’s because of who you are. I got the opportunity to know the Vanessa nobody else sees. The kind hearted loving Vanessa that looks out for the people that’s around her even when she didn’t have much to give. The way you looked out for me during those times I wasn’t right in the head made me begin to appreciate who you truly are. I love your drive and focus. You inspired me to want to do better when I saw you reach the goals you set before yourself. What I’m tryna say is you made me better and you didn’t even know it. Even til this day helping me get my finances in order. I fell in love with your intelligence, your kind heartedness, and your love that you showed me. Look at the time I wasn’t in the best state of mind and you never shut me out when everyone else didn’t want to put up with me. I know you were just being a good friend, but I began to fall in love with that.

Vanessa – *Look of surprise came across her face* wow I didn’t know you felt that way. 

Robert – Now question for you since we are on the subject. Is there any part in you, even if it’s a tiny part, that sees me more than a friend?

Vanessa – Well a little part of me can see.

Robert – * Jumps up off the couch* Yes that’s all the hope I need.

Vanessa – *Begins to laugh* What do you mean?

Robert – All I’m saying you may wake up one morning married to me if you not careful

Vanessa – *Laughing out loud* Ok whatever hurry up to set up the game so I can beat you up before everyone else gets here.

Robert – * Grabs the controllers hands one to Vanessa 

You don’t want these problems, you’re about to get all this smoke.

Vanessa – *Smirks*
