The year is 1993 and in a Philadelphia bedroom we see a 10 year old Ralph dancing to Maniac by Michael Sembello as his parents watch quietly outside his room door.

Ralph Sr. – (Shaking his head) He is your son Mary.

Mary – He has your name.

Ralph Sr. – I hope this is just a faze.
As they looked on we zoom in on Ralph as the room spins we begin to see a time jump to the present. Now 36 years old we see Ralph dancing to the same song in the living room of an apartment. Music blasting as his roommate walks in and turns bluetooth stereo off.

Tucker – (Angrily) Bro!! What the heck? It’s 3 in the morning. Why are you up dancing blasting music?

Ralph – Well I…

Tucker – (Interprets Him) It doesn’t matter. I got to be up in two hours for work, and so do you so cut it out.
(Tucker walks back to his room)
Sometimes I wonder who’s really 22 and who’s 36 in this apartment.
In a mail room in an office building Ralph is seen with headphones on dancing as his supervisor walks in.

Cindy – Ralph

Ralph – (Continues dancing) …..

Cindy – Mr. Bucky

Ralph – ……

Cindy – RALPH!!!!!!!

Ralph – (Jumps headphones fumble) Yes Cindy how can I help you?

Cindy – (Shakes her head) You have a problem. What I tell you about your dancing at work? Next time I’m going to fire you. You understand?

Ralph – Yes Cindy

Cindy – Now did you deliver the mail for the 5th floor yet?

Ralph – Oh I was just getting on it.

Cindy – (Annoyed) Ralph I told you to do that as soon as you got in this morning. Something important needed to be delivered right away. GO NOW!!!!

Ralph – On it right now
(Ralph rushes out tripping over some boxes. He gets up real quick and makes his way out)
I’m okay.

Cindy – That guy needs serious help.
Back home Tucker walks into the apartment. Ralph is asleep on the couch with the t.v. on. Just as Tucker was about to cut the t.v. off a commercial was on that caught his attention.

T.V. – Do you or someone you know have an incredibly annoying appetite for dancing?

Tucker – Yes.

T.V. – Is it raining a relationship, job, roommate living conditions?

Tucker – Yes I’m about to kick him out.
